The base color is a deep yellow which serves to highlight the deep black eye and edge. The throat is green and blends to red then black. This is one small flower that commands your attention! (T69-1) – [Topguns Power Broker x Kay Day] TET 25"” 5.5"” Ev EM, 3 Branches, 18 Buds. I could not think of a more fitting name for this daylily… Angels on Earth is lavender with a rose-pink tint, and displays a narrow double edge of light purple and cream yellow. It has been a favorite of garden visitors, and I have not seen another double in this color range. Fertile both ways and near 100% double. SOLD OUT

Seedling C433-1 [Memories of Ann x Dorothy and Toto] TET 26"” 5.5"” EM Ev Rebloom, 4 Branches, 20 Buds, 95% Double. I have waited many years for that one special daylily to come along that would be worthy of bearing the name of my late wife. She was such a special lady and I was fortunate to have had her in my life for so many years. This daylily is simply beautiful and has exceptional plant habit. The flower is hot pink with light pink borders which is fitting as pink was Ann’s favorite color. Ann Stadler is also a heavy rebloomer with the border becoming wider and lighter due to the hot weather. Because this has been so popular among garden visitors and because of limited quantities, I anticipate this introduction will be in short supply for at least the next two years. (A218-1) [Date With Destiny x Blue Beetle] Tet 28"” 5.5"” Dor M Re, 4 Branches, 20 Buds. 98% Double. I have for years considered ‘Date With Destiny’ as my benchmark for the best combination of plant habit and unique color. Ann’s Blue Eyes has arrived and challenged that benchmark. Petals are deep pink with a blue eye and edge. The plant has wonderful growth habit and heavy immediate rebloom. I have yet to find a fault with it and have only seen two single blooms since it maiden bloom in the seedling patch. This beauty is named for my wife’s beautiful blue eyes. Easily fertile both ways. (Y51-2) [Isabel Maraffi x Date With Destiny] Tet 35”" 7”" SEv M, 3 Branches & 18 Buds. 99% Double. This daylily is named for my late wife, Ann, and her love for everyone that she met. This beautiful double is a large deep pink with red flushing and a cream/amber edge. Tall, strong scapes easily support the oversized double flowers. The picture simply does not do justice to this stunning daylily. Fertile both ways. DF $40

(C461-1) [MISS PIGGY x BOSS LADY] TET 32" 8.5" Dor, EM, 4 branches 22 buds, UF crispate. This is a special daylily named for e very special granddaughter. The flower is deep pink with slightly lighter sepals. What sets it off is a beautiful creamy pink watermark. ANNA ELIZABETH STADLER is a great performer in growth, branching and bud count. A wonderful “classy” addition to the UFO class. Fertile both ways. DF $50

(N36-1) TET Obsidian x Baracuda Bay, 30" 5" EMRe Sev, 5-7 branches, 40+ buds. This performer is a 5” dark maroon with a black eye and small teeth. It has fantastic branching with laterals like stair steps up the scape. The bud count is impressive as well…sometimes as many as 60 buds! I have seen as many as 5 open blooms on one scape, and 3-4 is common. Baby Baracuda should be an interesting parent for teeth and does pass branching on to its seedlings. Fertile both ways and a sure fire ribbon winner! SOLD OUT

(T109-1): [Black Market x (Black Briar Bay x Night Wings)] TET 28”" 5”" M Ev, 3 Branches, 15-18 Buds. I have been working on true black daylilies for many years, and this is my first real black. Solid black until mid-morning, this beauty lightens to a deep-red black to finish the day. Back In Black has a narrow red circle at the top of the throat to further enhance the overall beauty. It is a good grower and easily fertile both ways. I have many interesting seedlings out of Back In Black, some with a tendency to double. SOLD OUT

(G 722-1) [LAND OF THE FREE  x  REDDY FREDDY] TET 37" 10" EM DOR, UF Crispate, 4 branches and 20 plus buds. Becky Ellen Hinshaw is an outstanding pure red self in tall, huge flowered unusual form.  This beautiful daylily is named for a long-time daylily friend and our Region 15 Judges Training Coordinator. It has a commanding presence in the garden and terrific plant habit…growth, branching, bud count, and best of all, beauty. Fertile both ways but takes persistence as a pod parent. DF $75

(F2-1) [Miss Piggy X Roses for Dallas] TET 34" 8.5" EM DOR, UF Crispate. 4 Branches, 20+ Buds, Rebloom.  “Belle of Eden” is the product of Gossard and Davisson breeding and as you might expect, it is a prolific performer with robust growth and heavy bloom. The crispate petals span an impressive 8.5 inches, revealing a harmonious dance of medium pink petals and slightly lighter sepals. White edging provides contrast that adds a touch of elegance to the vibrant hues. This is a top-tier, all-around daylily. Good rebloom and easily fertile both ways. DF $75

(Q21-1) [Antique Fringe x Cherokee Pass] TET 29”" 6”" EM Dor, 4 branches, 25 buds. This beauty is a coral peach/pink with red eye and edge. It can produce a double edge with a narrow orange border outside the red. This is a good show flower with excellent plant habits. The color combination is striking and helped it to earn the “Best Seedling” award at the 2004 Piedmont Daylily Show. Fertile both ways. SOLD OUT

(G725-3) [Ann’s Blue Eyes X Bewitching Glory] TET 26" 5.5" EM SEV, 90% Double. 3 Branches, 15-18 Buds, Rebloom.  Selected by Bill himself to bear his name, "Bill Gluck” is a fantastic double and represents a significant progression in my breeding program.  It pays tribute to the artistry of its namesake, a longtime friend and passionate gardener, and it is the result of many years working to bring vibrant blue eyes to my double lines.  The petals are painted in varying shades of pink, serving as the canvas for a brilliant display of nature's own fireworks. The focal point is an enormous eye that commands attention with its blend of purples, plum and delicate blues. The eye extends generously covering two-thirds of the petals and a double edge surrounds each petal in purple and blue. The result? A visual feast and an explosion of color. While registered as a 90% double, "Bill Gluck" rarely blooms as a single.  It is a unique gem in the double realm with robust plant habit and rebloom. Easily fertile both ways. SF $125 LIMITED

(T109-2) – [Black Market x (Black Briar Bay x Night Wings)] TET 30”" 5"” Dor M, 3 Branches, 18 Buds. I would classify Black Fury as totally black with a bluish glaze until mid-morning after which it begins to turn slightly red-black. Aside from its deep color, what excites me most about Black Fury is the narrow red edge on the petals. I hope to widen that edge for some dramatic future introductions. This is a robust grower and has already produced a number of promising seedlings. Fertile both ways. DISPLAY ONLY

(X28-1) [Edge of Madness x Doyle Pierce] TET 26"” 6"” E Dor, 4 Branches & 22 Buds. Blue Trim was gorgeous from its very first bloom and it seems to have improved with each growing season. The flower has rose purple petals and sepals, slate blue eyes and a double edge of slate blue and cream. It offers all the beauty of a “Florida Blue” with dormancy and excellent branching for the North. If you love blue daylilies, this is an absolute must for your collection. Fertile both ways. DF $35

Seedling E627-5 [White Eyes Pink Dragon x Roses For Dallas] TET 28" 7" ML DOR, 3 branches and 15 buds.  BORDERS IN PURPLE has been one of the prettiest blooms of any daylily in my garden. It may not be quite as tall as I would like, but its height allows it to be placed closer to the front of the bed. The flower is purple with a very large, creamy white watermark, and it is a showstopper. BORDERS IN PURPLE has wonderful plant habit, and it will be fun working to increase its height in future generations. Fertile both ways.  DF $60
