2026 Introductions

Broadway Serenade

(G725-2) [Ann's Blue Eyes x Bewitching Glory] TET 22" 5" M SEv, 2 Branches and 12 Buds

Take your breath away with this sultry, theatrical beauty that lives up to its name. Registered as a 5" single, Broadway Serenade performs its most unforgettable act when it doubles — roughly 20% of the blooms — practically demanding the camera. Even in its single form, the flower is pure drama. Velvety dark purple petals are overlaid with an inky near-black eye and matching picotee edge that looks hand-painted by midnight itself, and the glowing chartreuse throat pulls you in like a spotlight.

Though scapes are on the shorter side (perfect for the front of the border or container display), the intense, mysterious coloration and surprise doubling more than compensate — every morning feels like opening night. Hardy and vigorous, Broadway Serenade has been turning heads in my garden for years. Don’t miss your chance to own the star of tomorrow’s daylily stage today.  DF $100

Broadway Serenade showing off as a double...

Dragon's Ember

(H826-1) [Celestial Cindy Dye x Patton] TET 28" 5" M Dor, 4 Branches and 20 Buds.

Deep in the garden, something is smoldering. Dragon’s Ember glows with a rich, smoky purple so intense in some areas it borders on black, each petal edged in molten fire: long, wickedly sharp golden-yellow teeth that flare outward like flames licking from a dragon’s breath. The contrast is nothing short of electrifying — the darker the purple velvet, the brighter those jagged gold teeth burn, turning every bloom into a living ember that catches the light and refuses to let go.

A blazing chartreuse-to-gold throat pulls you straight into the dragon’s heart, while the teeth curl and twist with untamed personality. Strong scapes present the 5" flowers proudly.

For tooth lovers, this isn’t just another edged purple — this is the one that ends the hunt. Dragon’s Ember doesn’t bloom… it ignites. Claim your fire before it’s gone.  DF $100

High Country Grandeur

(G 715-11) [Wiggly Piggly x Banana Smoothie] TET 48" 8" UF Crispate, EM Dor, 5 Branches and 24 Buds.

This is grandeur in the truest sense — a towering, majestic daylily that commands attention from the back of the border and beyond. Standing proud on tall, stately scapes, High Country Grandeur carries its huge, rich golden-yellow blooms high above the foliage like banners of pure sunshine. The color is an intense, saturated yellow — deep, warm, and velvety — made even more striking by a crisp apple-green throat that flashes like an emerald beacon. Each 8" flower is perfectly formed with wide crispating petals, giving it a classic, elegant presence that stops garden visitors in their.

Exceptionally well-branched scapes and high bud counts deliver weeks of non-stop, traffic-stopping bloom. Opens perfectly, holds its color without fading, and multiplies rapidly in the garden. One look and you’ll understand why I consider this one of my best creations: High Country Grandeur doesn’t just grow in your garden...it reigns over it. Limited introductory stock on this future classic.  DF $150

Lavender Lace Aurora

(J904-1) [(Christmas Cotton x Date With Destiny) x Ann's Blue Eyes] TET 30" 6" 98% Double, EM Dor, 3 Branches and 15 Buds.

Step into a garden where the northern lights meet old-fashioned romance. This beautiful, 98% double wraps soft lavender-rose petals in an ethereal glow, then steals the show with a dramatic plum-purple eye and double edge, a ribbon of violet-blue kissed by the palest creamy-yellow, like moonlight on lace.

The ruffling is pure couture...lavish, lacy, and feminine. The form is flawless, the color combination unique, and the doubling is as dependable as the dawn. Cool mornings? No problem — she opens wide and holds her poise from sunrise to sunset.

Robust in every way and destined to be the star of borders. Lavender Lace Aurora doesn’t just bloom — she casts a spell.   DF $150

Lemon Snowball

(K117-12) [Peach Pom Pom x Double My Sunshine] TET 34" 7" 98% Double, E Dor, 3 Branches and 15 Buds.

One look and you’ll understand the name perfectly. This tall beauty opens into a flawless, perfectly round ball of the purest, cleanest lemon yellow you’ll ever see on a daylily — like a scoop of lemon sorbet rolled in fresh snow. The petals rise dramatically in the center, then flare and cascade outward in layer upon layer of heavy ruffling deliciousness.

The color is that rare, crystalline lemon that glows in every light — morning sun, cloudy skies, or evening glow — and the substance is rock-solid, holding its perfect snowball shape without a single droop or melt. Tall, strong scapes lift blooms high above the foliage, making Lemon Snowball an unforgettable beacon in any border or mass planting.

Very-consistent doubling (98%), excellent bud count and vigorous growth are hallmarks of this gem. If you’ve ever wished for a yellow double that looks like pure frozen sunshine, Lemon Snowball just granted your wish. Don’t let this one melt away!  DF $150

Midnight Whisper

(H821-2) [((Black Market x Daker) x Black Panther) x (Velvet Ribbons x Black Panther)] TET 35" 7" M Dor, 3 Branches and 15 Buds.

Some flowers shout. Midnight Whisper speaks in velvet shadows.

This is one of the blackest daylilies you will ever grow, rivaling the inky intensity of my 2010 classic Black Fury. The petals are a deep, saturated obsidian with a haunting blue-violet undertone that shifts like smoke in different light. Then — just when you think it can’t get any darker — an electric lime-green throat ignites at the center, throwing the near-black petals into breathtaking relief and creating a glow that seems almost otherworldly. What truly sets Midnight Whisper apart from other “blacks” is its stature: tall, elegant scapes (35") carry the 7" flowers high and proud, where they hover like dark stars above the foliage.

Destined for exhibition benches and moon gardens alike. If you’ve been chasing the ultimate tall, true-black daylily with a throat that knocks you out, your search ends here. Midnight Whisper isn’t just dark — it’s spellbinding. Limited introductory stock on one of my personal favorites.  DF $150

Tennessee Wildfire

(G719-5) [Doctor Handsome x (Heavenly Orange Blaze x Mister Monopoly)] TET 38" 9" M Dor, 4 Branches and 20 Buds.

If your garden needs a jolt of pure, traffic-stopping energy, look no further — Tennessee Wildfire lights up the landscape like a flare. This is orange dialed all the way up: a blazing, saturated orange so intense it practically hums, set off by a crisp apple-green throat that makes the color pop even harder.

Scapes are strong and well-proportioned, carrying the blooms high above clean, vigorous foliage. Opens perfectly even on the hottest days and holds its screaming color without fading. Tennessee Wildfire isn’t just bright — it’s downright radioactive. Limited introductory stock on this garden inferno — grab it before it sells out.  DF $125

Pink Confection Perfection

(L204-2) [Orchid Lace x Ann Stadler] TET 30" 6.5" M SEv, 3 Branches and 15 Buds.

This is the pink double you’ve been dreaming about — the one that makes people stop mid-sentence and whisper “What IS that?” A luscious pink that looks like strawberry frosting swirled with cream. Every petal is outlined in a pure creamy-white ribbon, then finished with delicate, bubbly ruffles that give the bloom an almost weightless, confection-like lightness.

First blooms open a massive 7" across — big, bold, and breathtakingly full — yet the form stays perfectly rounded and impeccably poised all day long. Later blooms settle into decadent 6–6.5" doubles that still pack the same sugar-rush impact. The color glows in every light, the substance is diamond-tough, and the doubling is rock-solid consistent (98%).

If you love pink, if you love doubles, if you love flowers that look like they belong on top of a wedding cake — Pink Confection Perfection is the one you’ve been waiting for. Plant it once and prepare for nonstop compliments (and a serious case of garden envy from your neighbors). Very limited introductory stock.  DF $150

Pink Velvet Royalty

(K118-1) [Anna Elizabeth Stadler x Amy Armstrong Stadler] TET 40" 8" EM Dor, 4 Branches and 20 Buds.

Royalty has arrived in the daylily world. Pink Velvet Royalty is pure opulence: an extra-large, luscious rose-pink bloom that opens a commanding 8" across, drenched in a soft, glowing lighter-pink watermark that radiates from the throat like light on the Nile at dawn.

While not registered as an unusual form, she often shows crispating — sometimes subtle, sometimes a bit more pronounced — keeping every morning full of royal surprises. The form is wide and overlapping with heavy substance that holds perfectly all day, while the vivid chartreuse throat pulls you in like an emerald set in pink silk. She'll be an absolute knockout in your landscape or on the exhibition table.

If you’ve ever wanted a pink daylily that looks and performs like garden royalty, Pink Velvet Royalty is the one you’ve been waiting for. Secure your crown jewel before the palace gates close.  Limited introductory stock.  DF $150

Sunlit Glory

(J904-3) [(Christmas Cotton x Date With Destiny) x Ann's Blue Eyes] TET 26" 5.5" EM Dor, 3 Branches and 15 Buds.

If Lavender Lace Aurora is moonlight and romance, Sunlit Glory is pure liquid sunshine with an attitude. This full, consistently double (98%) sister seedling explodes in radiant butter-yellow petals that glow like they’re back-lit by the sun itself. The lavender-purple eye and matching banded edge demand attention. The ruffling is luxurious...layer upon layer of heavily frilled petals give every bloom a plush, modern look.

Form? Impeccable. Blooms open wide and hold their glamour all day long. Photographs like a dream and stops garden visitors dead in their tracks. Strong plant habit and every bit as dependable a doubler as its sister, Lavender Lace Aurora, only this one brings the high-voltage color. Grab the sunshine while it lasts. DF $150
