Welcome to my world of daylilies where I've spent the last 30 years cultivating unique varieties with a focus on doubles, black, teeth and most recently, tall/Unusual Forms. Before I immersed myself in daylilies, I spent roughly two decades working with Iris, introducing 13 varieties that laid the foundation for my journey in daylilies.  Reflecting on the past year, 2023 was truly special. The bloom and rebloom were extraordinary thanks to generous rains and a careful feeding regimen. The Summer Regional Convention in Charlotte showcased the tour gardens at their best, and I was pleasantly surprised when my KAT NENNINGER was honored with the Carolina Clump award. A few of the season’s highlights are as follows:

• One of my creations, LINDA HUNT, surpassed expectations with an average of 5 branches and 30 buds. I feel compelled to update the registration as I very much understated its actual performance. 
• PATTON and KENNETH WILKIE, both reliable bloomers, stood out with their abundant flowers and rebloom. In fact, I don’t think I have ever seen KENNETH WILKIE perform better. 
• KAT NENNINGER displayed a remarkable heavy bloom on one-year plants. 
• Always a beauty, AMY A STADLER was taller and more impressive than usual.
