2020 may have been a strange year overall, but it was a wonderful year for daylilies here in Charlotte, NC. We had plentiful rains from January through August, and the resulting bloom was large and intense. Rebloom was the best I have ever seen in my garden with some cultivars blooming all summer. The heaviest rebloom came from Patton (2018) and from my 2021 introduction, Ann Stadler. The longest rebloom came from Ann’s Love (2015), Destiny’s Love (2016), Francis Elizabeth Stadler (2011), Peach Pom Pom (2020), Ann’s Blue Eyes (2018) and Bewitching Glory (2020). Francis Elizabeth Stadler bloomed into early October.
I am only introducing seven daylilies for 2021, but all seven are performers! There is one from my black line breeding, there are four unusual forms and there are two stunning doubles. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!
