The crispate petals span an impressive 8.5 inches, revealing a harmonious dance of medium pink petals and slightly lighter sepals. White edging provides contrast that adds a touch of elegance to the vibrant hues. This is a top-tier, all-around daylily. Good rebloom and easily fertile both ways. DF $125
Bill Gluck

Selected by Bill himself to bear his name, "Bill Gluck” is a fantastic double and represents a significant progression in my breeding program. It pays tribute to the artistry of its namesake, a longtime friend and passionate gardener, and it is the result of many years working to bring vibrant blue eyes to my double lines. The petals are painted in varying shades of pink, serving as the canvas for a brilliant display of nature's own fireworks. The focal point is an enormous eye that commands attention with its blend of purples, plum and delicate blues. The eye extends generously covering two-thirds of the petals and a double edge surrounds each petal in purple and blue. The result? A visual feast and an explosion of color. At 6.5 inches, it may seem like an unassuming presence in the garden, but the contrast offered between near black petals and a white midrib streaked with red set is striking to say the least. The flower also boasts a red triangular pattern just above a green and yellow throat to complete the cosmic symphony. The colors do intensify as the days get warmer. Frances Lucile

"Frances Lucile" was named for my older sister, a wonderful cook and an even better person, and it is a tribute to her legacy. The petals are a saturated orchid pink with a subtle white midrib above a green and yellow throat. Standing proudly at a height of 45 inches, "Frances Lucile" is the larger of two 2024 introductions from this Gossard / Davisson cross and it makes a bold statement in any garden setting. While "Frances Lucile" does crispate, it does not do so consistently and is registered as an extra-large variety. Fertile both ways. SF $125
